New Business Development Manager - Full Time

Omega Systems is currently seeking a New Business Development Manager that can define and execute sales strategies, build, lead and manage our sales team, and be directly responsible for closing business.  This role will report directly to the President and will be responsible for driving sales to continue accelerating the aggressive growth that Omega Systems is experiencing.  With this strong focus on revenue growth and expansion, we need a high energy, proactive, results-oriented leader that can build, motivate, and sustain both marketing and outside sales organizations as well as strengthen the organization's sales process.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide clear direction to sales team with emphasis on improving systems, scripts, and team development to optimize key sales metrics.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for sales team; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new services.
  • Responsible for creating highly effective sales/rebuttal scripts, tracking and analyzing performance metrics, and making appropriate adjustments to improve sales performance.
  • Supporting outside sales team in closing opportunities and customer relationship management.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings and one-on-ones with sales team to review performance, provide guidance and "next steps" accountability.
  • Create and analyze sales department budgets and projections in line with operational goals and overall company growth strategy.
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the sales and marketing team.
  • Oversee Marketing team in initiating and implementing branding and marketing strategies.
  • Participate with recruiting, training, and development of top-level talent in the sales department.
What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience meeting or exceeding sales goals within the IT industry
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a fast-paced, high-touch, relationship driven selling environment
  • Experience working with key decision makers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the internal desire and energy to grow a business
  • Exceptional motivator with a contagious and positive personality that can draw out superior performance in others
  • A team player that is adaptable, open minded and collaborative
  • Must be credible, highly drive and empathetic
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
