Inside Sales Representative - Full Time

Do you have a passion for technology?  Are you an IT support individual looking for a new and exciting career path, while remaining within IT?  The Inside Sales Representative is an integral position at Omega Systems.  You will be working very closely with our New Business Development Executives, Account Managers and Technical teams by supporting the internal sales process, responsible for deal registrations and bills of materials, handling quoting and pricing, and working with out current customer base in an effort to up-sell and cross sell Omega's products and services.

What You'll Do:
  • Work directly in communicating and negotiating with vendors and distributors for quoting and pricing
  • Maintain and enter all deal registrations on large opportunities
  • Generate accurate and complete quotes based on pricing and bill of materials received from the sales team or engineers
  • Responsible for owning the entire quoting process and ensuring the quote is sent to the customer in a timely manner
  • Responsible for gross margin and profitability calculations and understanding the budget for the opportunity
  • Effectively utilize and update Salesforce CRM database
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments, with the goal of increasing the volume of sales and profitability of the business
  • Take a proactive role with problem resolution at the customer and supplier levels
  • Coordinate with the new business development team, operations and professional services department to endure smooth flow of products and services between Omega and the customer
What You'll Need:
  • BA/BS Degree is preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience with preference in information technology or sales
  • Strong math background
  • Possess a positive attitude, be coachable, insightful, energetic and a great problem solver
  • Disciplined approach to developing new accounts with a strong focus on customer service
  • Analytical ability to determine best approach to clients on an individual basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills with a strong phone personality required
