Omega Systems Purchases New Building

2013 building

Omega Systems Consultants, Inc. announces purchase of a new building; Expansion will enhance business cloud computing offerings.

READING, PA - Omega Systems Consultants, Inc., currently located at 3020 Penn Avenue in West Lawn, has purchased a new building, located at 1121 Snyder Road in West Lawn, PA. The building provides capacity for a 5,000 sq. ft. in-house data center intended to provide additional space for business cloud service offerings.  Renovations, scheduled for the end of May, include a complete interior structural re-design and security enhancements.  The re-design boasts 4 conference rooms, an enhanced reception area, employee fitness area, and space for an additional 30 employees.  The total project cost is estimated at $8M.

Remaining in the Reading area is a benefit for Omega Systems, as they currently provide hosting services for storage, email, backup, and disaster recovery, to a broad range of business verticals within a 60 mile radius. “Our hosted customers find comfort in knowing that their data is stored within drivable distance to the facility,” comments Bill Kiritsis, owner and founder of Omega Systems.

With the high rate of recent growth and expanded partnerships, the acquisition of a larger facility was necessary.  Omega Systems is gaining momentum in the financial and medical fields, which require maximized security and redundancies.   The new building provides ample space for the current hosted offerings, and equips Omega Systems with enough room for growth as well as additional capabilities for complex projects.

Omega Systems celebrated their 10th year anniversary in 2012 and currently employs 30 technicians, sales and administrative professionals.  Omega Systems has remained the leader in the Reading technology services industry for 4 years in a row, as reported by The Reading Eagle, Greater Reading Top Businesses, and named by the Greater Reading Area Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Omega Systems has achieved the nationally-recognized CRN News Fastest-Growth award for 2 years in a row.
